Monika Forsberg is an avid collector of WWF wrestling figurines, and she originally planned a series of drawings inspired by them. A dream changed course. It came in full technicolour, complete with some very green, very tasty-looking spinach, and on waking Forsberg decided to make a collage instead. Twenty-four hours later, it was finished.
Forsberg describes her process as thinking before making a piece and thinking again afterwards, but not at all in between. While she works, she lets her hands take over, absorbed in a state of peace.
