Lizzie Coles’ drawings are inspired by moments from films that have made a big impact on her: the passionate, the scary and the joyous. She pairs finely detailed characters with abstract backgrounds. The viewer is reminded of the moment in the scene, but also taken back to the time and place where they first felt those characters’ emotions.
