My drawings explore moments inspired by films that have had a big impact on me - passionate, scary or joyous.

These moments, whilst being recognisable are also enhanced with the mood of drawing. The details of the connection are contrasted with abstract shapes depicting the setting.

I try to honour the original film and add its atmosphere to a still image, reminding the viewer not only of the moment in the scene but also transporting them to the time and place where they first felt the emotion of these characters
