"GIRLS OF DOOM"
Michelle Thompson found both the inspiration and the title for Girls of Doom in a vintage wrestling magazine. Drawn to the drama and spectacle of wrestling, she set out to capture its over-the-top energy.
Repetition runs through Thompson’s practice, and she moves between analogue collage and digital editing to arrive at the final image.
