Maxine Gregson
Maxine Gregson is a contemporary artist and printmaker based in East London whose work merges typography, photography, grid-layering and nostalgic imagery to create visually striking compositions. Her hand-pulled screen prints fuse vintage motifs with futuristic compositions — a style often described as “nostalgic futurism.”
Gregson’s vintage-inspired, limited-edition prints draw on both retro and modern influences. By blending retro and current imagery, she crafts surreal artworks that feel at once futuristic and familiar. Her prints are produced with care in her workshop in Hackney, East London.
In 2025, her works were exhibited in the two-person show with Jo Peel - Places & Spaces: Emotive Cityscapes meet Americana Dreamlands - at Atom Gallery, which ran from 7 November to 29 November 2025.
Gregson draws her inspiration from music, literature and nostalgic photography, merging architectural, landscape and graphic elements with typography and grid structures to build new, dream-like realities.

“Highs and Lows” was created exclusively for Trainspotters #T30. It will be available £350 unframed for the duration of the show, ending 14 March 2026. After that, it will be £450.
