Sunday 12 April 2026, Atom Gallery proudly presents a “punk acoustic” gig from bold newcomers The Sha Sha Shanimals. Doors open at 5pm!

Atom's current “Not My Type” exhibition perfectly echoes the Shanimals’ refusenik ethos - indeed the lyrics to Best Dressed Chicken in Town state “i met some people and they gave me the creeps”.

There are many people and things that are not our type - so stop looking at your phone and get out into the balmy environs of Atom Gallery where you can hear real music for real people played by real people who are feelin’ a bit dispossessed. In a good way. Thank you.

Wine, beer and soft drinks will be available, plus a chance to look at the wonderful "Not My Type" exhibition curated by Ceri Hine. Plus zines and badges and more more more! Get in!

The Sha Sha Shanimals spent last year playing gigs in London and at the seaside where they supported Mozart Estate. There are four of them.
